Yes, I have been at BYU for almost a year now. Yes, in fact, I have just barely hiked thee "Y." If I was one of those girls, who turns on that cute "take me on a date charm," chances are I would have already hiked the Y... several times. Seeing how it seems to be a very cliche date in cougar town. But- I am not that girl... so my first hike was a girls night out date... It was great! Just so were are all aware. It isn't like a stroll in the park. The hike works up a pretty good sweat. Which makes all those crazy moms carrying and infant child on their back and pushing a stroller with another child, the coolest moms I've ever seen. I want to be one of those crazy moms someday:)

Who needs a college degree?

So... This may have been how I spent my last few hours. I've decided that maybe college isn't for me. I think I will drop out of BYU and become a tattoo artist.  (Does the church have a stand on that? It's probably similar to working at a bar or something...) They could use a wholesome character on LA Ink though right? It could be a missionary opportunity:) JK! I am really kidding... In case you are wondering this is not my shoulder... it is my roommate's shoulder. But- I indeed have done the damage...

The Ivy we know and love...

Oh my goodness!... Ivy is going to -FREAK- when she see this. But- she is just too gosh dang funny and adorable to not be on my blog somewhere. I think we shot this video right after we practice our fake fighting in slow-motion... that could be another funny video to post... Ivy, Ivy, Ivy... I wish I could be more like you sometimes girl... You are so fun, and everyone loves you.

My Baby Bro is Seventeen

Happy Birthday to my brother Bronson! I remember very few times Bronson and I didn't get along. It's weird to think that we are as old as we are. I don't really remember any more being taller, stronger, or quicker than him. I may still be a little smarter though;)

Bronson is such an amazing person. I love coming home and talking to him, and I miss being home. He probably likes me better, now that college has loosened me up a little. He says I'm a lot more fun. I am...The other day at church, while I was lovingly scratching his back like a good sister, he turned, looked at me and said, "When are you going to bring home a boyfriend?" I contemplated how ambitious my dating life would be and told him I'd try for sometime this year. Of all the people who I want to like that lucky man I bring home, I care most about Bronson. It really should be like- my dad, because- get this- Bronson's only advice to me about a future suitor was," Marry someone who likes to ride dirtbikes." Haha:) Soon the tables will turn, and he will be that awkward RM trying to get a date to say yes... then we'll see who is laughing under her breath.

I feel sorry for those siblings who grew up, despising, avoiding, and terrorizing one another. Bronson was always and is still one of my best friends. I have great memories of building forts, and traps, riding bikes, sleeping on the tramp, shooting birds off the powerlines, arm wrestling, playing one-on-one, and other things I won't mention for our good records' sake. Needless to say, he was my first best bud.

Here's to my brother. Happy Birthday. You will be such a great man, because you are such a great guy right now. And for now, I think you look most handsome in purple;)

Clowns, Sharks, Marriage, and other things that scare me.



 For all those wondering if this means I am engaged… I’m not! BUT- I am in a Strengthening Marriage and Family class, and when I get bored, I write stuff. Here are a few of my thoughts….

-Find the happy:) medium between trigger happy and gun shy.

-Does it seem like all the marriageable men walking around campus are the ones that are already married?

-“He doesn’t have to be athletic. It’s just like 100% preferable.”

-Hey! Elder Uchtdorf. If I don’t get married to the good looking guy now and wait, will I get to marry a twice as good looking guy later?”

-I just bet Heavenly Father get’s a good chuckle in observing His children tryin to  find a suitable mate…

-Are you a boy scout… I am always scouting for boys.

-“I’d like to make any order… Can I get ambitious, well-done, with a side of maturity and a glass of sincerity? That’s not on the order:(

-…and then there were none.

-“ain’t gonna beg you to fall.”
